Russian composer and electronic producer, Tim Aminov, releases new track ‘Veneno’

Russian Composer and producer, Tim Aminov, has shared his brand new single, ‘Veneno’, which will be available on all platforms on the 26th of October. Released independently, the brand new track tackles topical social issues like race and gender prejudices.

One half of the indie bass duo AANBREKEN, along with fellow-Moscow based artist and vocalist Gala Ga, Tim was signed to Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, awarded “Zolotaya Gorgulia”, an important Russian industrial prize for “The Best Electronic Project of the Year”, and included in DJ Mag‘s Top 10 Bass Releases of the year. As a solo artist, Tim has garnered the attention of tastemaker publications such as XLR8R, Kaltblut magazine and stations such as Brooklyn Radio, catapulting Tim Aminov’s blossoming career and uniquely-sculpted vision further into the atmosphere

Tim Aminov’s brand new track ‘Veneno’ is filled with deep bass lines building the foundations of Tim’s tender vocal work. Simple in its structure and production, the track floats across ethereal soundscapes that culminates in a meaningful message, proving that simplicity, if used correctly, is key. A dream-like production, ‘Veneno’ reminds you that even though we’re different, you shouldn’t let that drive your decision making.

Commenting on the latest single, Tim states: “In the text I wanted to bring up the topic of people’s limited thinking in their perception of each other. Despite us living in the 21st century and our technologies developing with leaps and bounds, society still suffers from racial and gender prejudices. This is my first official release, where I work not only as a producer, but also perform the vocal part. With this release I want to start a new direction and grow as an artist. There is a big team of musicians behind me on this track. All instruments were recorded live, using a Neve Vr 60Ff vintage panel.

LA’s dreamy chill duo RKCB share cinematic music video for ‘Alone With You Pt. 2’

The soulful LA-based dream-pop duo RKCB has been relatively quiet so far in 2018 aside from the release of several remixes of their critically-acclaimed singles from last year, but that’s all about to change. The two have been holed up in the studio working on new material, and finally, the band have shared their first new single of the year, called “Alone With You Pt. 2”, along with its cinematic music video. “Alone With You Pt. 2” is the second installment to the video for “Alone, With You” that came out last year and covered the arc of a relationship throughout three songs. “Alone With You Pt. 2” revisits that relationship, this time from the new perspectives of RKCB’s own Riley Knapp and Casey Barth.

Watch the official music video below

“Alone with You Pt. 2” is an essential cut that hauntingly fixates on the piercing distance between two lovers and the longing to reconnect. The synths swirl around their minds, glued together with spectralish “ooo”s and “ahhh”s that seem to tear time and space in equal halves. RKCB fuse diverse, modern electronic R&B with avant-garde lyrics, resulting in an utterly unique, unparalleled sound. Accomplished producers and songwriters in their own right, having worked with Tinashe, Julia Michaels, Kacy Hill & more, along with over 100 million Spotify streams to their name alone, RKCB is poised to have a break-out year all their own in 2019.
